| 表面の説明 | Youthful beardless head of Heracles facing right, depicted in three-quarter relief, wearing the Nemean lion-skin headdress with the scalp drawn over the crown and the forepaws knotted at the throat. The modelling of the face is idealized in the Lysippan tradition, with finely articulated curling hair visible beneath the lion's mane. The irregular flan edges are characteristic of the hammered technique employed at the Sardis mint. |

| 裏面の説明 | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his upper body nude, a himation draped across his lap and legs; his outstretched right hand bears an eagle facing right, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field appears a forepart of a head facing left wearing a Phrygian cap (a mint control symbol), and below the throne a triskeles, serving as a secondary control mark identifying the Sardis issue. |
