| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of a youthful male deity, likely one of the Kabeiroi, facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with deeply engraved, flowing hair adorned with a wreath. The face displays idealized, classical features with a smooth, rounded profile characteristic of island mint coinage of the mid-second century BC. The portrait fills the obverse field without inscription, the flan exhibiting the slight irregularity typical of hammered silver issues of this period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two nude male figures, the Kabeiroi, standing facing one another within a rectangular frame, each resting on a long scepter or spear; the figures are rendered in a hieratic, frontal style with stylized anatomical detail. The frame is flanked on either side by olive or laurel branches extending into the outer field. The Greek legend ΘΕΩΝ ΚΑΒΕΙΡΩΝ ΣΥΡΙΩΝ is inscribed on three sides of the central panel, reading vertically on the left and right and horizontally along the bottom, denoting 'of the Syrian Kabeiroi gods.' The composition reflects the strong religious identity of the Kabeiroi cult on Syros during the Hellenistic period. |
