The composition follows the well-established iconographic tradition of Kushan and post-Kushan coinage of the Kota Kula principality, with both figures rendered in a bold but schematic style in low relief. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat flat, consistent with locally produced hammered copper issues of the 5th century CE. |
