The execution is of high artistic quality, consistent with the best engravers working in Magna Graecia during this period. To the right in the field appears the monogram YE, serving as a magistrate's or mint official's mark. The ethnic legend ΡΗΓΙΝΩΝ is inscribed in Greek characters, identifying the issuing city of Rhegion. |
