| Opis rewersu | A fully open rose with stem and a bud to the left, serving as the civic emblem of Rhodes, rendered within a square incuse. The Greek ethnic legend ΡΟΔΙΟΝ appears above the rose. In the left field, the letter Φ serves as a magistrate's or control mark, while a kylix (drinking cup) is positioned to the right of the rose. The entire design is contained within a recessed square incuse punch, a hallmark of early Rhodian tetradrachm coinage. |
