Beschrijving voorzijde Central type depicts the omphalos of Apollo — a beehive-shaped sacred stone rendered in fine relief with a reticulated net pattern and a serpent coiled about its base. The omphalos is surrounded by a dense wreath of oak leaves and acorns arranged in a circular border, framing the central device in typical Pergamene cistophoric style. The field is plain and unlettered, with the entire composition occupying the full flan in high relief characteristic of Hellenistic hammered coinage.

Beschrijving keerzijde Two serpents intertwined in a coiling pattern at the center of the field, rising from the base of the design and extending outward in a cruciform arrangement, evoking the sacred serpents associated with the Pergamene cult. To the left, a Macedonian-style caduceus or bow-case symbol appears in the left field, and to the right a serpent-entwined staff or thyrsus-like symbol. The Greek legend AΣ appears above the serpents, referencing the city ethnic of Pergamon. The reverse design is characteristic of the cistophoric tetradrachm series issued by the city of Pergamon.
