| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing figure of Nike in right profile, attired in a tall polos headdress and an elongated, flowing chiton that extends to the ground. The goddess extends her right arm upward to present a victor's wreath, a conventional motif of divine favour and royal legitimacy on Hellenistic coinage. The Greek legend is arranged in two lines within the field flanking the figure, identifying the issuing monarch. The composition follows established Hellenistic conventions for winged-victory types, though Nike is here depicted without wings. |
