| Obverse description | Standing figure of Athena facing, depicted in full martial attire including helmet and cuirass, holding a spear in the right hand and a shield in the left. The goddess is rendered in a frontal pose with slight stylization characteristic of Hellenistic provincial bronze coinage. Partial legend visible in the field to either side of the figure, though largely worn. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination associated with Achaean League bronzes of the second century BC. |
