| Opis rewersu | Central field dominated by a large royal Bosporan monogram composed of interlaced Greek letters, surmounted by a star or radiate symbol at the apex. A second, smaller monogram or control mark appears to the right. Below the monogram, the ethnic inscription ΠΑΝΤΙΚΑΠ / ΑΙΤΩΝ is rendered in two lines of clear Greek majuscules, identifying the issuing city of Panticapaeum. The overall composition is typical of late Mithridatic and Pharnakean civic bronze issues from the northern Black Sea region. |
