| Descrizione del rovescio | A cornucopiae (horn of plenty) is depicted upright in the center of the field, overflowing with fruit and foliage, symbolizing royal abundance and prosperity. The Greek legend, partially preserved due to the irregular flan, reads [ΒΑ]ΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ] above and ΑΡΣ[ΑΚΟY] below or flanking the device, identifying the issuer as King Arsaces, the dynastic title adopted by all Parthian rulers. The inscription is retrograde in places and shows the characteristic irregular letter spacing of hammered Parthian bronze coinage. |
