| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Mithradates II facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with flowing hair beneath a royal diadem, the ends of which trail behind the neck. The portrait is executed in moderate relief typical of Parthian bronze coinage, with distinctive facial features including a prominent nose and short beard. A fillet border encircles the design field, consistent with the royal iconography of the Arsacid dynasty. |

The Greek legend, partially preserved due to the irregular flan, reads [ΒΑ]ΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ] above and ΑΡΣ[ΑΚΟY] below or flanking the device, identifying the issuer as King Arsaces, the dynastic title adopted by all Parthian rulers. The inscription is retrograde in places and shows the characteristic irregular letter spacing of hammered Parthian bronze coinage. |
