Reverse description Nude male figure — likely a personification of Victory or a maritime deity — standing left atop the prow of a galley (rostrum), holding an aphlaston in the raised right hand and a long sceptre in the left. The figure is rendered in a vigorous Hellenistic style with the body in slight contrapposto. The Greek civic legend ΣΕΒΑΣΤΗΝΩΝ is inscribed vertically to the right of the figure, identifying the issuing city of Elaeusa-Sebaste. The entire design is enclosed within a dotted border.
