Obverse description Nude male figure, identified as Zeus, standing left in a dynamic contrapposto pose, his chlamys billowing behind him; he extends his right hand forward holding a small Nike figurine, while his left hand rests on a long scepter. The rendering is robust and typical of Hellenistic bronze coinage of the Achaean League. A partial Greek legend appears to the right in the field.
