Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Duke Leopold I facing right, with long flowing curled hair falling to the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the French Baroque style, showing elaborately detailed plate armor at the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading from the left, separated by pellets and a decorative star. The coin's edge is bordered by a fine toothed inner circle.
