| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field inscribed in Arabic with the ruler's name Ya'qub (يعقوب) and the mint name Amid (آمد), presented in fluid, interlocking Naskh-style calligraphy across the face of the coin. The inscription 'ضرب آمد' (struck at Amid) appears in the lower register, identifying the Diyarbakir mint. Additional marginal legends fill the surrounding field, consistent with standard Aq Qoyunlu tanka reverse typology. The flan is irregular with uneven edges typical of hand-hammered silver coinage of this period. The overall design is compact and densely inscribed, with no figurative elements. |
