| Opis rewersu | The reverse presents an entirely epigraphic composition in Arabic, arranged in three horizontal lines within the central field, consistent with standard Timurid religious and dynastic coinage conventions. The uppermost line bears the first half of the Islamic shahada, 'La ilaha illa Allah' (There is no god but God); the second line carries the second half, 'Muhammad rasul Allah' (Muhammad is the Messenger of God); and the third line names the nominal overlord 'Mahmud Khan', acknowledging Chaghatayid suzerainty. The lettering is executed in a bold Naskh hand, and faint border remnants are visible on portions of the periphery. |
