Obverse description Central field bearing multi-line Arabic calligraphic inscription in the typical Jalayirid hammered style, with text arranged in horizontal registers across the flan. A decorative scroll or wave border element runs along the lower margin of the coin. The striking is characteristic of late Jalayirid coinage, with raised bold script occupying the majority of the field and the irregular flan exhibiting typical die-struck weakness at the peripheries.
