The inscription is disposed across two or three horizontal lines, with the letters executed in high relief against a flat field. The coin's irregular flan shows typical characteristics of hand-struck medieval Indian coinage, with the legend extending close to the plain rim.

背面描述	Hammered silver reverse with multiple registers of Arabic calligraphic legend in bold Gujarati Naskh script filling the entire field. The inscription reads 'Shams al-Dunya wa-al-Din Abu al-Nasr Muzaffar Shah ibn Mahmud Shah al-Sultan khallada Allahu mulkahu 903', recording the full royal titulature of Sultan Muzaffar Shah II, son of Mahmud Shah, together with the Hijri regnal year 903 (AH), corresponding to 1497-1498 CE. The legends are arranged in three or four horizontal lines across the flan. A dotted border is partially visible along the rim on one side, consistent with the die type for this issue.
