The inscription reads 'Shams al-Dunya wa-al-Din Abu al-Nasr Muzaffar Shah ibn Mahmud Shah al-Sultan khallada Allahu mulkahu 903', recording the full royal titulature of Sultan Muzaffar Shah II, son of Mahmud Shah, together with the Hijri regnal year 903 (AH), corresponding to 1497-1498 CE.
