The text is arranged in horizontal registers, the calligraphy exhibiting the characteristic bold strokes and tight interlacing of Ottoman hammered gold coinage. A beaded border encircles the legend, conforming to the irregular flan edge. The overall strike is typical of provincial Ottoman mint production, with some weakness at the margins. |
