| Beschrijving keerzijde | A long voided cross with plain arms divides the reverse field into four quarters, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular pattern, for a total of twelve pellets — a design closely derived from the English sterling prototype. Each quadrant is further defined by a small beaded arc or inner circle segment at the cross junction. The surrounding Latin legend MON ETA SER ENE, broken across the four quadrant spaces, identifies the mint of Serain. The entire design is contained within an outer beaded border and the characteristic irregular flan edge of a hand-hammered medieval coin. |
