| 背面描述 | The reverse displays a long cross pattée extending to the beaded border, dividing the field into four quarters. Each quarter contains a distinctive charge: a bird (eagle) in the lower left, a pellet or roundel grouping in the lower right, and foliate or floral motifs in the upper quarters, rendered in the angular hammered style typical of late 13th-century episcopal sterlings of the Meuse valley. A small quatrefoil or mullet ornament appears at the top of the cross. The peripheral legend in uncial Latin reads LeODIeNSIS (of Liège), referencing the bishopric, separated by pellet stops within a beaded border. |
