正面描述	Diademed and draped bust of Bosporan king Sauromates I facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with flowing hair indicated by fine engraved lines beneath the diadem. The bust is shown with a simple draped garment, the folds of which are visible at the truncation. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy, reading ΒΑϹΙΛΕΩϹ ϹΑΥΡΟΜΑΤΟΥ (of King Sauromates), distributed around the full circumference of the coin field.

背面描述	Laureate head of the Roman Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered with characteristic beard and strong facial features in a Roman imperial portrait style. The hair beneath the laurel wreath is depicted in short, tight curls. Below the portrait, in the lower field, appears the Bosporan regnal year monogram ΓΙΥ (year 413 of the Bosporan era, corresponding to 117 AD). A beaded border encircles the design.
