The effigy displays a diadem and visible drapery at the shoulder, with a sceptre or short staff held before the bust. The circular Greek legend ΒΑϹΙΛΕΩϹ ΡΗϹΚΟΥΠΟΡΙΔΟϹ (of King Rhescuporis) runs around the periphery of the field, partially visible amid the coin's characteristic irregular flan. A dotted border frames the design.

背面描述	Laureate and draped bust of the Roman Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, depicted in the Bosporan interpretive style with a radiate or laurel wreath crown and visible drapery. A club or trident-like symbol appears to the left of the bust, and a six-pointed star or astral symbol is visible to the right in the field. The Greek date numeral ςMΦ (546 of the Bosporan Era, corresponding to 250 AD) appears in the lower field or exergue. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border on the irregular flan.
