The surface is plain and undecorated, bounded by the irregular raised rim typical of Celtic hammered gold staters of this type. The pronounced concavo-convex flan exhibits the characteristic cracked and irregular surface resulting from the striking technique employed by Vindelician Celtic craftsmen. |

The overall composition is aniconic and abstract, consistent with the Celtic artistic tradition of the late La Tène period. |
