| Beschrijving voorzijde | Stylized bird's head facing left, rendered in the abstract Celtic artistic tradition with bold, rounded relief forms. The head is enclosed within an open wreath composed of curved, leaf-like pellet elements arranged around the periphery of the concave flan. The design is characteristic of the Regenbogenschüsselchen coinage, exhibiting the schematic, highly abstracted Celtic interpretation of classical Greek prototypes. The flan is deeply bowl-shaped, typical of the rainbow cup stater series produced in the Vindelician region of southern Germania. |
