Beschrijving voorzijde Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in fine high relief characteristic of the Macedonian royal coinage tradition. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, adorned with a prominent crested plume and fitted with a coiled serpent on the bowl, its body sinuously trailing down behind the neck. Strands of hair emerge beneath the helmet's cheek-guards and fall loosely around the neck, framing a graceful, idealized profile with a finely modeled eye, straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The field is plain, with no legend or border inscription on this face.

Beschrijving keerzijde Nike, the goddess of victory, standing left in full figure, her wings spread behind her. She extends her right hand forward to hold a wreath, while her left hand grasps a stylis (naval standard or ship's sternpost ornament), a device emblematic of maritime victory. In the left field, a griffin is depicted seated left, serving as the mint control symbol for Teos. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, identifying the issue as struck in the name of Alexander the Great. The composition is balanced and finely engraved in the Hellenistic style prevailing under the successors of Alexander.
