The goddess's hair flows in loose locks beneath the helmet onto her neck, and her facial features are rendered with fine classical workmanship. The field is plain, and the flan retains the characteristic irregular, slightly convex form of a hammered gold stater of the Macedonian series. |

The composition reflects the refined Hellenistic die-cutting tradition of the Amphipolis mint. |
