| Opis rewersu | Bare head of Agrippa (alternatively identified as Tiberius or Drusus in some scholarly attributions) facing right, rendered in a similar Hellenistic portrait style to the obverse. A royal monogram of King Aspurgus appears to the left of the portrait in the field. The Greek alphabetic date ΑΚΤ (321 of the Bosporan Era, corresponding to 25 AD) is placed below the bust. The inscription ΒΑΡ, an abbreviation for ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ (of the King), accompanies the legend, establishing the royal authority of Aspurgus. The reverse design, like the obverse, is contained within a raised inner circle. |
