In her outstretched right hand she holds a wreath, and in her left hand she carries a ship's stylis (sceptre). A stylised grain ear or palm branch appears in the left field, serving as a mint control mark. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically in the right field, and the mint control mark ΔΙ appears in the lower left exergual area, associated with the Memphis mint. |
