Reverse description A nude slinger standing in dynamic throwing stance to the right, his body twisted as he prepares to release his sling; the Greek legend EΣTFEΔIIYΣ, reading as the ethnic name of Aspendos, appears to the left of the figure. To the right, the forepart of a horse galloping to the right is depicted in the upper field, with a Phrygian helmet rendered below it. The entire design is enclosed within a dotted circular border, a characteristic feature of Aspendian coinage of this period.
