The style is characteristic of late Hellenistic Pontic coinage, with a naturalistic portrait of high relief executed in hammered gold. |

She holds a bow in her extended left hand and an arrow, while her raised right hand prepares to cast a spear aloft. A monogram appears to the left in the field. The date letters PI-Θ (= year 119 of the Pontic era, corresponding to 95–96 CE) are inscribed across the lower field, serving as a chronological indicator standard to Chersonesean gold coinage of this period. |
