| Descrizione del rovescio | Deep quadripartite incuse square subdivided by raised ridges into four recessed triangular compartments arranged around a central raised point, forming a windmill or skew pattern within the punch. The incuse is sharply struck with well-defined raised borders forming the outer square frame, characteristic of the early Archaic punched reverse technique employed throughout the Hellespont region during this period. The surface of the incuse sections shows the rough texture typical of hand-struck electrum coinage. No inscription or additional device is present. |
