| Obverse description | Chimera advancing to the left, depicted with the forepart of a lion, the body of a goat, and a serpent for a tail, the serpent rearing upward over the creature's hindquarters. The lion head bears a luxuriant mane rendered in fine detail, with the forepaws outstretched in a striding posture. A ground line runs beneath the figure, below which appears a triangular symbol in the exergue. The abbreviated ethnic ΣΕ appears in the field beneath the chimera's body, identifying the issuing city of Sikyon. |

| Reverse description | A dove flying to the left with wings spread, rendered in finely engraved detail showing individual feathers on the wings and tail. The bird is enclosed within a wreath of olive branches, their leaves naturalistically depicted encircling the entire field. The magistrate's name or ethnic legend ΜΙΒΥΡΤΙΟ is inscribed in Greek characters in the upper field above the dove, within the wreath border. The overall composition is well-centred and executed in the high-relief style characteristic of Sikyonian coinage of the fourth century BC. |
