The eagle's head is turned to the right, its plumage finely engraved with individual feathers clearly delineated across the wings and body. To the right of the eagle, in the field, appears the abbreviated ethnic inscription referencing Apollo. The composition is bold and fills the flan effectively, consistent with Tarentine civic coinage struck under Pyrrhic-era influences. |
