| Obverse description | Pegasus in flight to the right, depicted with carefully rendered feathered wings raised upward and forelegs extended in a galloping posture. The mythological winged horse is rendered in confident archaic relief against a plain field, with musculature and feather detail conveying dynamic motion. The figure occupies the full flan in the characteristic Corinthian stater tradition. |

| Additional information |
Leukai was a minor Akarnanian polis whose independent coinage output was limited and short-lived, likely curtailed by the increasing political consolidation of the Akarnanian League during the first half of the fourth century. BCD Akarnania 186 is among the few attributed specimens that allow confident assignment to this otherwise sparsely documented mint.
