| Beschrijving voorzijde | Two tunny fish (thunnoi) arranged vertically in the field, the upper specimen facing left and the lower specimen facing right, rendered in archaic relief with naturalistic detail characteristic of early Kyzikene coinage. The tunny fish served as the civic emblem of Kyzikos and appears as a recurring type badge throughout the city's extensive electrum series. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with early archaic hammered coinage technique. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Quadripartite incuse square divided into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size by raised intersecting bars, forming a windmill or mill-sail pattern typical of early archaic Greek coinage. The incuse is deeply impressed and asymmetric, consistent with a hand-punched reverse die of the early sixth century BC. The surface within each quadrant shows uneven texturing characteristic of the hammered technique employed at Kyzikos during this period. |
