| Beschrijving keerzijde | A patriarchal cross on steps occupies the centre of the field, its arms terminating in globules in the Byzantine tradition, with the letters S and I placed in the angles of the cross arms. The surrounding circular legend, distributed within a beaded border, reads VICTOR PRINCI S I CON OB, referencing the victory of Prince Siconulf and the standard of Constantinople gold (OB for obryzum). The overall design closely imitates Byzantine solidus reverse types, reflecting the monetary conventions of southern Lombard principalities during the ninth century. |
