| 背面描述 | The emperor Constantius III stands in three-quarter facing military attire, draped and cuirassed, his body turned slightly to the right in a pose of imperial triumph. In his right hand he holds a long military standard (labarum), while his left hand extends a globus surmounted by a Victory. Beneath his feet, a captive enemy is shown seated and bound, subdued with knees flat and left foot prostrate, symbolising Roman supremacy over the barbarian foe. The exergue bears the officina mark COMOB, denoting the comitatus mint issuing in gold, while the field marks R and V flanking the legend identify the Ravenna mint. |
