Obverse description Flat, worn field bearing the partial remains of a horse or animal figure in low relief, rendered in the schematic Celtic artistic tradition characteristic of Icenian coinage. The design is highly abraded, with surface detail largely lost, leaving only faint linear traces of the underlying type. The irregular flan exhibits ragged edges typical of hand-struck Celtic units of this period. No legible inscription is discernible on this face, consistent with the abbreviated legends associated with this issue.
