Obverse description Stylised head of a male figure facing left, rendered in the abstract Celtic artistic tradition. The cranium is dominated by an elaborate fan-like arrangement of radiating striated lines representing hair or a headdress, extending across the upper field. The facial features are schematically rendered, with a prominent almond-shaped eye, a boldly modelled nose, and a squared chin occupying the lower field. Traces of pseudo-epigraphic lettering appear to the right of the face. The overall composition reflects the Late Iron Age British tendency to dissolve classical portraiture into geometric and curvilinear elements.

Reverse description A horse passant right, depicted in the energetic, disjointed Celtic style characteristic of Late Iron Age British coinage. The stallion's body is rendered with boldly rounded haunches and schematically indicated legs, with a pellet above and below the animal. A boar or similar creature appears in the upper field above the horse, rendered in a similarly abstracted manner with distinct bristled outline. Subsidiary ornamental devices including pellets and geometric motifs occupy the surrounding field, consistent with the Eastern North Thames typological group as catalogued under VA 1900-1901 and ABC 2780-2783.
