| Popis rubu | A horse passant right, depicted in the energetic, disjointed Celtic style characteristic of Late Iron Age British coinage. The stallion's body is rendered with boldly rounded haunches and schematically indicated legs, with a pellet above and below the animal. A boar or similar creature appears in the upper field above the horse, rendered in a similarly abstracted manner with distinct bristled outline. Subsidiary ornamental devices including pellets and geometric motifs occupy the surrounding field, consistent with the Eastern North Thames typological group as catalogued under VA 1900-1901 and ABC 2780-2783. |
