Beschrijving voorzijde Highly stylised Celtic head in profile facing right, rendered in abstract curvilinear relief characteristic of late Iron Age Dobunnic art; the face is defined by a prominent nose, stalk-like lips, and a single pellet or ring denoting the eye, with an occasional daisy-and-ring motif at the crown. A bold cross with pellet-tipped terminals is positioned in the lower field beneath the lips. Decorative rings occupy the field behind the head, while crescents and pellet rosettes fill the space before the face in a characteristic horror vacui arrangement. All elements are executed in flowing relief on an irregularly shaped flan with no inscription.

Beschrijving keerzijde A horse advancing to the right, rendered with comparatively naturalistic fidelity for a Dobunnic issue, with a single-strand tail extending behind the hindquarters. A large cross dominates the lower field beneath the horse, its four angles each occupied by a small subsidiary cross and additional decorative pellet motifs. Beneath the tail appears either a V-shaped device or a cross with pellet-tipped terminals, varying by die; above the horse, a cruciform arrangement of rings and crescents fills the upper field. The overall composition exemplifies the geometric ornamental programme of the Cotswold Crosses type, with no inscription.
