The "Sia" element in the inscription may denote a sub-tribe or regional affiliation within the Iceni confederacy — a political structure still poorly understood from the archaeological record alone.

ABC 1633 is among the scarcer Iceni attributed issues, with known specimens concentrated in hoards from Norfolk and northwest Suffolk, the tribal heartland.
