| 背面描述 |
A Pegasus depicted in energetic motion to the left, its body compact and powerfully rendered in the abstract Celtic tradition. The wings are shown as a fan of elongated lines terminating in pellets above the creature's back, and a prominent torc or collar ornament encircles the neck. The legend ANDOCO is disposed around the figure in the field, identifying the issuing ruler. Pellets and ring-and-dot motifs appear in the field as decorative elements, typical of Catuvellaunian coinage of the late pre-Roman period. |
