| 背面描述 | A horse prancing to the right, rendered in the abstract Celtic style with boldly modelled body and schematic limbs. Below the horse, the partial Latin inscription VIRI CO is disposed across the lower field, referencing the issuing authority Verica, son of Commios, ruler of the Atrebates. An annulet or pellet motif is visible to the right of the inscription. The overall composition is typical of Atrebatic silver minims of the early first century AD, reflecting continued use of the equine type derived ultimately from Macedonian prototypes. |

Verica ruled the Atrebates following the death of Eppillus, styling himself REX on his coinage in direct imitation of Roman titulature — a political statement as much as a monetary one. His kingdom maintained close ties with Rome, and the coinage reflects that alignment. The minims, fractional silver struck at barely detectable scale, were likely used in small commercial transactions or ritual deposit rather than bulk trade.
ABC 1289 is among the harder Vericан minims to attribute cleanly in the field, given the die variability at this size.
