Obverse description Celticised head facing right, rendered in the schematic La Tène artistic tradition characteristic of late British Iron Age coinage. The facial features are highly stylised, with the eye depicted as a prominent circular pellet and the hair suggested by bold flowing lines radiating around the head. The surrounding field is filled with curvilinear decoration typical of the Atrebatic workshop. The flan is small and irregular, consistent with the minim denomination. No legend is present on this face.
