| Beschrijving voorzijde | Robert I of Anjou enthroned in majesty, facing, flanked by a rampant lion to each side, holding a globus cruciger in his right hand and a sceptre in his left. The figure is rendered in a flat, Gothic stylised manner characteristic of medieval Provençal hammered coinage. A peripheral legend in uncial Latin characters surrounds the royal effigy within a beaded border. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold cross fleurée occupying the central field, with the terminals of each arm terminating in fleurs-de-lis, and a fleur-de-lis ornament placed in each of the four angles of the cross. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with an uncial Latin legend running within the outer border. The overall composition is characteristic of Angevin Provençal coinage of the early fourteenth century. |
