| Beschrijving voorzijde | Helmeted head of Menrva, the Etruscan goddess of wisdom and warfare, facing right, rendered in archaic Etruscan style with fine engraving detail visible on the helmet crest and cheekpiece. The bust is depicted with naturalistic facial features including a pronounced nose and lips, with locks of hair visible beneath the helmet rim. The Etruscan numeral denoting the denomination of 2½ asses appears in the field to the right of the effigy. The flan is characteristically irregular, as is typical of Populonian hammered silver coinage of this period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Reverse entirely blank, this being a uniface issue struck on a single die with the reverse left uninscribed and undecorated, a characteristic feature of the early silver fractional coinage of Populonia. The surface of the reverse shows the rough, granular texture of the unstruck silver flan, with no devices, legends, or incuse marks of any kind present. |
