| Beschrijving keerzijde | Reverse of this hammered half-mohar displays a bold cruciform arrangement of Devanagari inscription compartments set within a square central panel, typical of Nepalese coinage of the late Shah period. Each quadrant of the cross contains characters from the royal legend, while the interstitial spaces bear small decorative rosette or floral ornaments. Scrolling foliate borders frame the central device, and a raised beaded border follows the curved periphery of the semicircular flan, consistent with hammered Nepalese mint production of the period. |
